About This Project
Esurf Aventure, a tourism-based adventure company in Quebec, faced a challenge in effectively showcasing their electric surfboard experiences online due to their outdated website design and limited content availability. With the growing interest in adventure tourism, they recognized the need for a revamped web presence to attract more visitors and increase bookings.
Task:
As the lead designer for the Esurf Aventure website redesign project, the task was to create a visually captivating and user-friendly website that effectively showcased the thrill of esurfing while providing clear information about the experiences offered. The goal was to enhance the brand's online visibility, attract a wider audience, and streamline the booking process to improve conversion rates.

Collaboration played a pivotal role as we engaged with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the marketing director and CEO of Esurf Aventure, as well as the mayors of the towns where the adventures took place. Recognizing the importance of aligning with regional tourism goals, we worked closely with local authorities to ensure that the website's design and content resonated with the unique characteristics and attractions of each destination.
BUILDING THE BRAND
Building the Esurf Aventure brand was a meticulous process that began with thorough market research and stakeholder engagement. Recognizing the importance of understanding our target market's preferences and aspirations, we conducted interviews to glean insights directly from the adventurous souls we aimed to attract.
Through collaborative discussions and careful consideration, we ultimately selected a brand direction that seamlessly integrated elements from each option, creating a unique identity that embodies the thrill of Esurf Aventure while offering familiarity and approachability to our diverse audience.
PICKING A DIRECTION
We presented the client with three distinct options for both structure and palette, each carefully curated to evoke the exhilarating essence of esurfing. Collaborative discussions ensued, engaging stakeholders in iterative feedback sessions to refine the visual elements and ensure alignment with the target audience's preferences and expectations.
Results:
Increased Engagement and Bookings: The updated website saw a significant increase in user engagement metrics, including time spent on the site and conversion rates for booking inquiries. The streamlined booking process resulted in higher conversion rates and increased revenue for Esurf Aventure.
